Nymph of The Valley
She is the spirit of the Lilley of the Valley, with her two faces, her duality, she embraces both life and death. By ways of her mirror she offers us a glimpse into another realm, one of magic and of transformation.
She is a large doll sculpture made with textiles, clay, a mirror, mohair, fossils, beads, gemstones, seedpod beads, raw silk and antique book pages.
She measures: 91 x 32 cm's

I have worked on this piece on and off for almost half a year, as she kept changing and morphing into different forms. She has become a symbol of transformation for me personally and I hope that she will bring the same to whomever meets her in the future

🎨 ABOUT PANTOVOLA
I make handmade textile sculptures and art dolls since 2015 inspired by Fairytales and Folklore, Victorian Ghost Stories, Dreams and the Natural Queendom.
My creations are all lovingly made by me in my homestudio using mostly vintage & antique fabrics and curios, water based paints and air drying clay.
I try to give a good representation of the artworks with my photographs,
however some colours may slightly vary depending on screen calibration

As per EU regulations I accept returns.
Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer
📮 SHIPPING
Shipment takes place from the Netherlands, EU with Track & Trace.
I aim to ship within a week after purchase.
You will receive a shipment notification with tracking link via my shop.
Please keep an eye out for any updates about delivery dates,
if items are returned to me, new shipment must be charged.
I take great care in packing my artworks as securely as possible,
using recycled bubblewrap and sending in a sturdy mailing box.
However, if you wish to have your shipment insured against loss or damage,
please contact me for a special courier shipment quote straight after your purchase.
